Power down the PC and remove the cover on the case.
Pop the cover off the bay that you wish to put the floppy drive
in.
Place the floppy drive into the bay through the front of the
case.
Screw the floppy drive into place using the mounting screws.
Place the power connector on the floppy drive in the appropriate
orientation. It should go on easy one way, and it should be quite
difficult to get it on in the wrong orientation. Note that the power
connector for the floppy drive is different than any other device in
the PC. The floppy drive power connector is usually much smaller but
it still has the same 4 wire color combination.
Now place the floppy drive ribbon on the floppy drive ribbon
connector. Pin 1 on the connector corresponds with the red wire of
the floppy drive ribbon.
Plug the floppy drive ribbon into the floppy drive connector on
the motherboard. Make sure you line the red line up with Pin 1 on
the motherboard connector.
Boot your PC back up and if the floppy drive is detected put the
cover back on the case and enjoy!
